Our Mission
Emigrants and Global Allies Against Trump (EAGAAT)’s mission is to organize global opponents of Trump and American fascism by promoting innovative organizing in the US and giving emigrants and global allies clear, nonviolent ways that they can support the fight in the US.
EAGAAT is a project of GTFO Tours. We are deeply concerned about the direction of the US and through GTFO Tours, we help people get out of the US. But we also believe that in this day and age, you don’t have to stay to fight, and in fact by leaving, you can mitigate the physical risks that activists face in authoritarian nations.
We also believe that there are many, many people globally who oppose what Donald Trump and his cronies are doing (eliminating USAID and threatening 14 million lives, threatening nuclear war, supporting dictators and instigating WWIII, destroying one of the worlds’ major democracies, etc. He’s a real dick!).
But we also know that it can be difficult to know what to do when you’re not in the US. And also, a lot of the organizing that’s happening is appealing to unreliable and/or broken institutions: donate to Democrats, call your Member of Congress, phone bank for the next election.
Our goal is to promote innovative organizing efforts in or around the US that:

Recognize the current strategic landscape

Don’t play by the rules of games we know are rigged against us

Oppose Trump/Project 2025/American totalitarianism, support communities targeted by him/his administration, and/or address gaps they have created, and/or are working to build better systems than what came before Trump

Have clear ways that people abroad can help
It’s time to stop playing by outdated rules, let alone by the rules of the game they’ve rigged.
It’s time to realize that there are more of us than there are of them, and that our love and compassion are stronger than their hate.
Our lives and our networks and the consequences of our actions span the globe, and it’s time that our organizing leveraged that.
